Neapolitan Pizza Dough Recipe (For 3 Pizzas) Ingredients: 500 g flour 290 g water 0.5 g yeast 16 g salt Instructions: Step 1 – Mixing & Kneading Place the flour in a bowl (or small container). Add the water and yeast, then mix for 2–3 minutes until a rough dough forms. Add the salt and continue mixing for another 2 minutes. Transfer the dough to a work surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Step 2 – First Rest (Bulk Fermentation) Place the dough back into a container and cover it tightly to prevent air exposure. Let it rest for 6–7 hours at room temperature. Step 3 – Shaping & Second Rise For Round Pizzas: Divide the dough into balls. Place them in an airtight container. Let them rise for 10–11 hours. For Square Pizza (Tray Style): Lightly oil two oven trays. Divide the dough into 2 balls and place them in the centre of each tray. Lightly oil the dough and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise for 10–11 hours. Once ready, gently spread the dough across the tray. Note: Do not use baking paper, as the dough may stick. Step 4 – Baking Preheat oven to 250°C (480°F). Add tomato sauce and a drizzle of oil. Bake for 5–6 minutes. Remove, add toppings, and bake for another 5–6 minutes. Step 5 – Serve Enjoy your homemade pizza!
